Is this Meucci a TS-1?

It took me a lot of looking to find a match for this cue. At first I thought it was a 97-4 but seems closer to a TS-1.
Google isn't all that great for looking up model numbers.

I'm considering buying a shaft for it but don't know if it's worth it or not. When I had a shaft for it, the shaft was warped and I've been holding onto this butt for about 15 years. It's still in excellent condition.

Any input?

As for what model you're Meucci cue is I don't have a clue , however I've got a soft spot in my heart for Meucci cues even if I mainly play pool with a Mike Gulyassy cue .
But I'd give it a shot and get another couple of shafts for it and enjoy playing with it as it's a very sharp looking cue and one to be proud of !

I'd say it's worth it. If you just want a regular wood shaft, they are about $50 on eBay. You can get a Rhino CF shaft for $180 or so. If you order what you want from Meucci, they will match the joint collar for $25 if that matters to you.

Of course, you could also just sell the butt if you don't want to deal with it.

I'd buy a Meucci PRO shaft for it. I really like mine.
I've been looking at a Pro shaft but they're 0.007" larger in diameter than the butt. I have a lathe so I could probably sand it down and polish it. It even matches pattern at the joint.

Next option would be a red dot from Meucci.

This butt has a clear finish over the wrap. Honestly, that's what I don't like about Meucci cues. I like the linen feel. I have a 97-11 and my friend has a couple from the same era. but I would rather shoot with my Adam AH any day of the week because it has the linen feel.
