Is this really Matchroom's regular price?

Is this what Matchroom's price has been all along? I thought I read recently it was a lot more.

Why wouldn't all of us be members or buy streams directly from them at this price?

.99 cents for a day pass is pretty darn cheap for stellar quality in pool viewing.

Didn't they do something like this for one of the mosconi cups? I feel like I paid $8/ month? One time.
If its been this cheap all along I'm like in disbelief. I think I've been looking at their website and not seeing
the streaming price. That might be on account of their business model being based on attendance venues.
I get the feeling that with corona those streaming prices are going to be advertised where we can see them
from now on. I would have been a customer for a long time but apparently I've been under the impression it
was very expensive and its obviously not.

The Matchroom price is a great deal but does it require a Facebook account to view? If Facebook is not required, I will be making an annual subscription purchase. DAZN is dead to me.

No Facebook. You watch on their website.

I am researching this to see if it fits my viewing needs: THE PRICE IS VERY< VERY FAIR! Thanks for the POSITIVE post about them. I think Matchroom is the best thing going for Pro Pool right now!!!

For me, Matchroom.live is an addition to DAZN, not a replacement. In the USA, when everything works as it should, we have DAZN for table 1, sometimes Matchroom.live for table 2. The UK Open I think was the only pool event where I was actually able to see table 1on Matchroom.live. I have watched some snooker events on Matchroom.live, but not pool.

I doubt it. Facebook has become the information highway for social contact to expand one's own universe but its not
necessary everyone do it. As far as I know an internet connection is all that is needed.

Interesting the relationships there. I have to wonder just what is happening that DAZN seems to not be working for people?

DAZN sucks. Everybody knows it. It's ridiculous to expect Americans et al. to pay for a stream that is not reliable.

I get it that we're supposed to pay the $19.95 a month or a yearly subscription, how this is supposed to support pool, but Matchroom should not have DAZN be USA's source to watch their pool events when DAZN doesn't advertise pool events ahead of time and doesn't provide a quality viewing experience.

It's really a shame that Matchroom doesn't seem to grasp this concept. If they're locked into a contract with DAZN, let that sucker end, expire, and immediately sh*t-can DAZN to the side of the road.

Jam,
I have a guess on why this is the way it is and all I can say is (if I am right) then I understand why it has/had to be this way. I will answer with a question. Would you want to stake a business deal based on the likes or dislikes of this demographic or would you rather provide content to a streaming platform that needs diverse content for its subscribership who might be excited about watching Pool, because they've not seen a lot of of it?

I agree DAZN dropping the ball doesn't help a growing contingency of American viewers at all. In fact its discouraging it. If I had known the price for their live streaming I would have been watching their events for a long time now. Finding out the price is surprising to me yet its also almost embarrassing. Why didn't I know this before? I don't see the information on their website so to me it appears they have been trying to send those viewers to DAZN but something is broken and badly. I hope it doesn't mean Matchroom isn't getting paid.

Content sales is driving what they do and when you see a huge venue like the Copper Box, with hanging lights, 3 arenas and 21 other tables that is a lot to pay for. What Matchroom does is not simple by any means but its all a testament to the thoughtful arrangement of the business. I am sure they will respond to these problems the best they can. I would guess the problem is at DAZN and this is not inspiring.

Has it been established that it was Dazn that dropped the ball? Dazn started off as a great idea...no more PPV for premium boxing events with some top name talent. Now, they have crawfished on that and have started charging PPV for the REALLY big events in addition to the subscription fee...not cool.

The last several MR events have been good for me on Dazn....up until this one. They also have a relationship with MR darts, so I am not sure what happened. It gets pretty darn confusing with all the individual events and passes having their own streaming procedure. at one time last year I had a subscription/pass to MRLive, Dazn, Accustats (I think), poolactiontv, and maybe one or two others...

It hasn’t been their price all along. The monthly pass is lower for me. Not sure if it’s because I’m an early subscriber or because I’m some kind of member.
