I Can't Believe You Ate The WHOLE Thing

I spend the whole weekend out in the hot Florida woods trying to catch a magical fairy that would grant you your most wanted wish..... and what do you do with it ?

is this the week we get paid?

I hope so for your sake and the rest of the players. And for us fans who have no involvement other than having friends that are players and want the IPT to continue for the benifit of our friends and the rest players.

The Billiard World, not Just The Ipt Players

don't you just love it when posters say "well, if your not an ipt member then why should you care if an ipt player was paid or not, HELLO!!!!! you stupid dumb ignorant people, are you crazy?????? of course these people should care, they should care a lot! the entire billiard world, is watching every move the ipt makes, they are supposed to have raised the bar on professional pool, they the ipt, say we want you to dress a certain way, act a certain way, we want you to be the upmost in professionalisom so you can project to the world how much class and status you have being an ipt player, and you will in effect set into motion a frenzy of outside pool players entering qualifyers because you are their role models, and then we will have everyone on earth trying to get onto the ipt. so with that in mind, not my words but kevin's, get a grip on reality, people care because if the ipt players are supposed to act professional, then where is the ipt professionalism???? it's no where to be found, in fact, i'll go so far as to say, it's more important that the outside billiaiard world hears we got paid, so they could relax and start entering qualifyers, i'm sick and freakin tired of"why should you care your not an ipt player" that's like in a sense asking someone who just jumped out of a plane, "was it easy to find the cord, for the shute?" perfectly logical and practical question don't ya think? they wanna know because they are scared shitless, and if they are gonna attempt it, they want to know if it was easy to find the cord, well the "outsiders" wanna know, did the ipt players get paid, before they enter one of the very expensive $2,000 qualifiers, does this makes sense, as far as i could see, the ipt has a lot to answer up to and it ain't just the ipt players, it's THE BILLIARD WORLD simply wanting to know~~~~~ was it easy to find the cord"

As a skydiver I can tell you the answer is YES!

Maybe they simply don't have any friends and can't comprehend friendship.

It will not affect my financial well being either way. I care because I've got friends in the pool world... I want to see them get paid for Reno and I would love for the tour to continue so that their quality of life could increase and they could support themselves and their family without struggling so much. Nothing like not knowing when you're going to get your next payday and spending hundreds to travel to a tournament hoping that you at the very least cash high enough to break even for the trip.

I care because I care about my friends and I of course want the best for them. Anyone ever had a friend outside of pool that lost their job, had an illness, had a run of bad luck? If you're a true friend, you cared. IMO, there simply is no difference. I care about my friends. My friends are also not in a position to speak their mind on this matter, but I am.

same here

I care because the pool world had been crying and hoping for something like this for many years....it was such a big subject on this forum about how pool as a sport needed a benefactor with lots of money to elevate its existence......and now that it's happened and is here, I don't want to see it fail......and I am puzzled by the almost perceptible joy some find in its potential demise.......and you know who you are.......

It's called the 'CEO' complex. They want to be in charge and have lots of money with nothing 'invested' in the venture.

Good post wahcheck.

Sadly, some do take great pleasure in other peoples pain. Those that want to see this fail do not deserve to even be on this forum. They're not true fans of the sport the majority of us here love. You don't have to have friends that are players to want this to work... you simply need to be a fan of the sport.

I agree. I personally don't know a single soul that is involved in the billiards industry, but I sure as heck want to see this IPT thing succeed.

Nice of you to speak their mind for them.
Did they ask you to?????

I was asking Timberly.
Who asked you ????

I don't know who asked who first, whether it was him, her or you; but I believe who is on first (unless it was I don't know but I believe he was on second).

As a matter of fact some have asked me to say something. I'm friends with both players and vendors in the industry. They respect me for having the guts to speak my mind and know that most people on here know that I'm honest & stand behind what I say. From time to time people have come up to me and suggested and/or asked that I say something on here... stuff that they "can't" say because of their position in the pool world.

So yes, my little IPT troll, some have asked me to speak for them.

No it isnt. But I think you will find out when or if you will be payed. Thats my hope anyway.

No chance - this will be strung out as long as possible - to maximise the chances of getting $2,000's in..
