Isn't it really just the shaft?

Now go look at the chart & notice all of differences with the same design black dot shaft on different butts. Something has to account for those differences. Is it the joint? Is it the butt weight? Is it the butt construction. I do not know the answer. But it is something more than just the shaft. The next questions are how much does it matter & how can we qualify it.

For now I think it is too difficult to determine & the best we can do is try & find one that we like the feel of not the looks of.

rick where is the chart???
although ive never read about the buttt being a factor in deflection or squirt you do raise an intriguing question
why differences in results when the shaft is the same for all butts???

That is not exactly what I said or meant to say, but it is in essence. Mr. Muecci had to 'joint' the shafts to fit the different butts, so it may not be the exact same shaft on ALL of the different butts. But, something other the the shaft alone is effecting at least some of the differences. The chart should be accessible on the Muecci site. I am a tech 'idiot' so I can not provide you with a link. It was also posted somewhere on AZB. You search & I will search & if I find it I will get back to you.
