Tom was from the west coast of Canada and passed away quite a few years ago. His specialty were snooker cues and they hit like an absolute dream, his workmanship was also first rate. That being said, we have a number of them floating around here in Edmonton that I'm sure could be had if the price was right. I may be able to track a few down for you, but some more info on exactly what you're looking for would be helpful.

Re: Cue

He lived in a suburb of Vancouver, Canada and he had cancer many years ago and qui many years ago. He did live in Abordsford, BC. He made 2 point butterfly snooker cues the were very popular in England. They wer guarnteed for life aganist warping.
There are several in the Van. area or catch Vrenchy when he goes bust, which is often, and you may get a deal.

i will consider all cues that r 4 sale. i am not picky. i would prefer 1 of his snooker cues. i would also prefer to deal inside the u.s.. thank u.

anyone? r they that rare?
You can talk to Scott at Zac cues and he is in Canada and if one can be found, he can do it. Eh

You are searching for a very limited production cue made by a deceased Canadian cuemaker who specialized in snooker cues....how many do you realistically expect to find on U.S. soil that would actually be for sale. His cues are very hard to find IN Canada, it's almost the same as trying to by a high-end Southwest in Thailand, I'm sure it can be done...but I don't like your chances much.

Vrenchy? Were you by any chance referring to Frenchy Alain Boutin from Vancouver, BC? :)

He used to play with a Gauthier cue. Now, he is playing with a Layani custom cue built with cocobolo, linen wrap, blue diameter tip.

He is breaking with a Gauthier cue. It is a 2 point butterfly done in cocobolo with a maple forearm, with an ash shaft, elkmaster tip, black fibre ferrule. I know it is quite an unusual choice for a breaking cue but he really loves that cue. He told me he once made 7 balls off the break on a 7 foot! :p

Sorry Nip. I never was very goood with those foreign names. Did you ever see him balance a cue ball on a straw on his nose. He is quite talented.

My name is Richard and I am not a "nip." ;)

"Frenchy" is his nick name given to him due to his French Canadian origin. His Canadian name is Alain, the same as the "dancing bear."

Yes, he is quite amazing with his nose trick. I have seen it many times.

Why are you responding to the post posted by Spiderweb? Are you spiderweb? I am very confused.
