It arrived today!

Since I just retired for the 2nd time (20yrs in the Army and 21yrs at the VA) I treated myself to a new pool table. Bradley from Diamond delivered and set up my table today. Gotta get the Littman lite hug tomorrow and move my watchmakers desk into another room I will be using to restore/repair watches. I am super excited to get the pool room set up like I want it and get my lathes ordered from Chris Hightower so I can start changing out tips/ferrules and start making some basic cues. Retired life is gonna be fun, but busy. Can't wait to try and get back to the level I was at before I quit playing pool in 2013.

I thought it looked smaller, looks like you got room in there to put five tables how come you got one so small? Please don't get me wrong I'm not criticizing. It's just most people who get smaller tables it's because they don't have enough room for a 9-footer but would love to have a bigger table.
I would also add
"Thank you for your service".
I hope you enjoy every minute of your new pool table I'm sure you deserve it.

I think you're about to discover you have a lot of new friends. Kind of like a boat, the next best thing to owning a boat is a friend who owns a boat.

I have plenty of room for a 9' and I honestly considered getting a 9' Diamond, but every tournament I will play in and my pool league is on a bar table. But, I may add a 9' later this year. We are having a bar built and have it fully stocked so when friends come over we can play, watch tv, listen to music and just have fun. The wife is buying a nice card table for herself since she likes cards, dominoes and board games.

Just got the new Littman light installed.

Years ago I had a boat that I actually sold because, one, I didn't use it that much and second I had friends who actually wanted to just take the boat whether I went or not.


Be selective of your friends and never be afraid to say no. If they don't like it the hell with them.
