It plays and it looks good. The butterflys are not veneers - they are all built using exotic hardwoods. And did I mention it plays :)

Jack, that butterfly's a real beauty.....would be curious to know how much she stings (the wallet). And those JPs with the matching trim rings are a real classy touch.

That is one nice flyer. I'm really starting to dig those butterfly cues. Specially when they are not veneers. I would change a thing or two, but this is the basic design I will put in mind.

I also want to know how much this strings the wallet. :D

Wow

I am sorry but that Cue is just too nice to play with imho. Hopefully the new owner will appreciate it, as if it is as good looking in person as your photo Jack you have created something very special.

Can only assume the Cue will play as good as it looks if it is indeed built with all exotic hardwoods.

I see a lot of butterfly's with blurred edges, yours are so crisp! very nice Jack!
also I really like that wrapless cocobolo/ BEM handle cue on you site, the last cue

Thank you. This particular cue was sold and has been delivered to the owner along with another Madden cue. I am working on a couple others with the same hardwood combinations but have recut points with shorter butterflys in the forearms. Am thinking of putting leather wrap on them. One will be done within a month or so.

Jack, I'm surely not usually a fan of butterflies, but this particular cue looks great!! I'm sure the new owner loves it! Great job at doing the work.

Thank you. I have a lot of people requesting that scenerio -- usually change up the rings a little. And Cocobolo is a beautiful wood that doesn't need inlay work.

That cue is a real beauty, Jack. Nice job. I would agree, inlay in that cue would be a shame. You work keeps getting better all of the time!

I agree with above poster about many of the butterfly splices I see being a little fuzzy around the edges. This one is a knockout. The ring design is outstanding.

Very nice cue.

Excellent work Mr. Madden!

Are those flys recut one at a time? Thet appear to be mitered at the base of the flys... I like the mitered appearance of it instead of the overlapping flys.:)

Thank you --- yes. Customer is very happy man --- said the pictures don't do the cue justice (guess I need to buy a better camera one of these days).

If they were not happy I would say they are crazy. Think you camera does a fine job.
