Hi all,
Well, as promised here's a couple of pics of the controversial It's George cue. Mike (nutnut) was a pleasure to work with and kept in contact with me the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the cue. It has a nice honey stained maple body with great figuring, not like the standard George player which is usually plain BEM. The shaft has some curl to the maple and is very solid. The wrap is excellent and provides an interesting contrast to the maple body. The cue is straight as an arrow both separate and together. I took the cue for a spin a little earlier today and it has that nice resonant George hit, very lively and a good feel in the hands. This was a great deal and I welcome Mike to the forum!
