Thanks for the kind thoughts y'all. Yep, Ivan is one more bad dude. Had hoped that we would be on the lee side but it don't look that way now.
We, Cindy and I, along with Creole, Julie, and their baby Landon are going to stay at the foley store. My daughter and her boyfriend are alos going to join us. If it get too bad we will all get in the vault - a 10 x 16 block vault poured solid concrete with rebar in every cell, rebar horizontal and a poured concrete roof on it. Blud, I may have to move all the shoeboxes full of hundred dollar bills you having me store for ya.
Don't know how long we will be without power but I'll check in with y'all soon as I can.

We have plenty of supplies and are at the store now. They will probably cut the power a bit later. Landfall for the eye is going to be around midnight. They kill the power to prevent having a bunch of live wires laying around.

Good luck and God Bless Pel. I think Hemi is right, damn near all the pilings over there on the east coast and more are going to get affected by this storm. Seems like y'all have already had your fair share! Don't forget to drill an air hole in that safe Pel!
