Ivory Ferrule's hit

Hi, I'd hit with ER 240 shaft with ivory ferrule and I like the solid hit so much. In your opinion what part of the cue contributes the solid hit the most?
My lucky guess is the ferrule :embarrassed2:. What ferrule resemble Ivory the most, in term of hit feed back?

work from the cueball backwards as far as hit
buckhorn may be the closest to ivory
that's just my opinion
