I miss this cue...:(

Shoot with this Szam once, don't be deceived by its beauty, it moves cue ball effortlessly with easy spin... to a serious player or collector this is a "must have" and just can't afford to miss!!

Price is more than fair, good luck for the sale !!

Beautiful Koa....and if I'm not mistaken this was one of Barry's personal cues.

(think I may be mistaken.....oops)

That is one beautiful cue.
You really brought out the beauty of this one with your great pictures.
I love the point work and the exceptional details in the inlays.

Good luck with the sale my friend.

Wow

Please explain to me why this cue is worth $12,000+ dollars!

I look at AZ alot, I go to the cue show at Valleyforge...I see alot of cues.

I'm no professional or builder or anything so maybe there is a reason that I am unaware of? Special materials, special teqhnique? ??

Many cues here on AZ seem to have much more detail or decoration and sell for MUCH MUCH less.

Why so expensive?

Don't get me wrong, It is very nice, but I'm not sure it is $12,000 nice!

Please advise.

I see that you have been a member here for a little less than a year. How many Szam's have you seen for sale, and were any of them this fancy? A simple 4 pointer from Barry will bring $5000+. There are probably literally hundreds of cuemakers out there who make "fanicier" cues, but for the most part, the value of a cue is quite heavily dependent on the cuemaker's reputation, output, playability, and demand in the market at any given point in time.

Right now, there are few on the same tier with Barry with respect to demand, playability, and reputation; and combined with extremely low output, this makes them go crazy from a pricing standpoint. I would argue that this cue will not go down in value, and that this price is not out of line for this cue. go try to find another one like it and try to pry it out of the hand of the person who owns it and you will see why they are hard to get at any price.

Base on my personal viewpoint
1.Ivory and ButtCap
2.4 shafts
3.Special Koa wood points
4.Like new which just refresh by Barry Work.

Maybe I set a highly price, but I also said will listen reasonable offer,Did I ??I'm not a cue dealer and have few experiment to sell cue.I think only 2 time in selling cues to USA.
Some real or seriously buyer interested this cue will PM me if I set a high price. You can see a lot of things happened in Sell/Wanted area. Somebody will be told without left sell price (Like PM me for price),but I decide to show the price I thought.
I'm work hard on my job to do all my best to collect the cues that I want.I also want to go to the cue show at Valleyforge but I don't have time cause work busy in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(tsmc). My majority interesting in my life is collecting custom cues.

Thanks for your advise !!:)
