This is my first cue that isn't a bar cue conversion. The handle is made of some cherry that my friend asked me to make into a cue. It is sleeved over purple heart. The forearm and butt sleeve are cocobolo, and the shaft is made from a spliced cone I got from cuestock.
Overall I am fairly happy with the end result. The cue breaks and jumps well, but the finish looks very amateur. I hope someday to build cues as nice as some of the excellent craftsmen on this forum, but for a first attempt, I guess this is ok. Thanks for looking,
Josh
