J flowers vs justice case

I'm heading to the sbe today and being the case whore I am Ive had a hankering for my first justice case. They look like incredible work but the jb tribute cases look just as nice and will protect my cue just as well for half the price! Any of you have both and give me a comparison and your thoughts before I pull the trigger at the expo?
 
If you want a case to carry your cues around and protect them, the Flowers tribute will do that and look good.

A Justice case is American craftsmanship at its finest, made by one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, who is set to retire soon.

On the surface they are similar. In reality, they are worlds apart.
 
My friend just go a J Flowers case and he loves it. The interior is top notch and they are really put together well. It has made me want to get one. Then again Justice cases are amazing. I think either way you go its a win win situation. Just depends on what kind of $ you want to spend. Good luck on your search and maybe ill run into you at the expo. :thumbup:
 
You are talking about the difference between buying a production case and buying a lifetime-keeper personalized case for a difference of a few hundred dollars.

Do yourself a favor and buy a custom. In 20 years, you will remember the sense of admiration and appreciation you had for the case every single time you picked it up. In 20 years, you won't remember the couple hundred you saved buying a production case.

In this case, pride of ownership is very affordable. The Flowers tribute is a great case for daily use and protection - one of the best built cases made - but there are a lot of them. A Justis is a personalized statement from a terrific craftsman..

Why would you even think of buying a Justis case? Oh yeah...because they rock. As for the them protecting the cues...go figure I have had mine for a year with no issues.
 
Or buy a CUSTOM JB Case. Then you get best both worlds(for the same money as a Justis)! Awesome protection and a "one of a kind".

I will say that Justis cases are very sharp looking and have that aura about them that people know what they are just by sight. And most people familiarize this with how much they cost. Are they a great case? Yes.

I've never met Jack but have read great things about him. I've seen his work.

I will say that JB Cases are very sharp cases as well. They have that "throw me under a car and I will survive" look. Also are extremely well protective on the inside.

I've never met John but I have heard(and watched a few ustreams with him in it) and will admit he is a bit "out there". I've seen his work.
 
As a fellow case whore, I elect to get the Justis case first, and then budget for a JB Flowers tribute case later. As others pointed out, Jack Justis is set to retire soon.
 
I have a J. Flowers Tribute by John Barton. This case is well made and my cues are 100% protected. I will choose no other case, mainly because I will never need to replace this case.
 
reaaly are you serious.chinese production case vs.american case made by a legend that will increase in value.although any good case will work for you.buy smart and support american products.
 
Newstroke stated his position, and he justified his reasoning. Let's respect differences of opinion.

Back to the OP, why do some people prefer buying custom cues over a high quality production cues? Justis is collectible and iconic (like a Southwest), J Flowers tribute is high quality production (like a Schon).

I agree with most on here, go with the Justis. I saw something interesting the other day on CBS, if every American spends just $.01 more per day on American made products it will generate 200,000 jobs. I've always tried to buy American for my business but I try harder now.
 
Since America is borrowing money from the chinese, we should buy chinese products so that there is money to borrow!

I agree that if your compairing apples to apples, you should try to buy american. If your wanting to get the best for your money, do your research and choose wisely. There have been a few threads on here discussing the "Jbcases vs. Justis" debate.....
 
Unfortunately there are no jb flowers cases at the expo so I will be buying a justice case today. I'm not disappointed by it lol. They look exceptional. I just wish I could have compared the two.

As far as the buy American bs I don't care where it came from. I work hard for my money and I'll be damned if I'll give it to any company for an inferior product simply because it's American. Not that I think a justice case is inferior but lets just say there never will be another American car in front of my house. I love this country but to many companies are putting out an inferior product and then trying to pull on your buy American heart strings to get you to buy it.

You will like it.

If you want, you could always put a JB Cases interior in the Justis Case. Then you would have the best of both!

i totally agree.
