Went out on a lark and ordered one of J&Js standard cues alongside a cheap break and a jump cue. I wanted to see if it would be a viable option for a beginner looking for a decent cue that is cheaper than the tried and true options on the market (Lucky, Valhalla, etc.)
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cue. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it came from the same factory as the Valhalla line; Side by side they are strikingly similar. I have not done any technical tests besides the roll test (dead straight) but for $70 i think you are hard pressed to find something this good. Just my $0.02; posting it here for any newbies looking for a cheap cue recommendation
