hey guys, anyone heard anything on who's planning on showing up for the tournament in nashville this weekend? I am wondering if the field will be stronger this year since the DCC just finished and Nashville is a puddle jump away. I know the regulard bar table tourney players just wondering if some of the filipinos or other champions you don't usually see at J.O.B.'s may show.
 
There will be many excellent players to watch. Including John Hennessee, Bobby Pickle, Johnny Archer, George Breedlove, Jamie Baraks, Sparky, etc. There is occasionally a phillipino or two there. Earl has played a few times. We'll just have to wait and see who all makes the trip.
 
Sacramento's Tony Chohan and his cousin Amar Kang have indicated they are going to spend some time in the Music City.

can someone please update the heavy hitters that showed up, i am considering driving up this afternoon.

went down yesterday to watch Pickle play Archer. Pickle won 11-8.
Also watched Hennessee and Nick Hickerson play and they both lost and are out. Sparky Ferrell won. Gabe Owen was playing Jerry Slivka but I dont know the outcome. Shannon Daulton was still in the winners bracket as was Scott Frost, Tony Chohan,Mike Williams, (local) Mike Jones, (local) going back today to sweat some more matches. Sorry I cant tell you more but I left at 7:00 to get some sleep.
