Did you guys know Jack made cues? If you have one or have any pics of one, I'd LOVE to see it/them. In the bluebook issue 3 it says his s/p's sell for like $350, and if they're anywhere as nice as his cases are, MAN I'd love to see one!!

Jeff, why don't you ask Jack himself? He is always posting pics of the cases he has completed for players, and perhaps while he has his camera out, he might me willing to snap a few off for you...or perhaps he even has a photo archive of some of the ones he completed.
He's such a nice and easy-going guy...he might well be flattered that you asked. He just posted a pic of Si's new Justis case in the cue gallery forum. I know I would be interested, as I have never seen a pic of one either...would be kinda cool.

His cases are super nice. So if he puts the same attention to detail in his cues I bet they will be nice also. I am looking forward to seeing some of his cues. You have me wondering what he will do for wraps since he has the fishing rod background. I have seen some cues with the nice fishing rod wrap patterns on them.

I appreciate the nice comments but I built my last cue in 97'. I really didn't build them from scratch.....I used old Titlist or house cues, cut them in half and got all my shaft wood from Tony at Black Boar. I did some ring work and used Ivorine 3 for the joints and butt caps. All had 3/8-10 pins and ivory ferrules. I always tried making five at a time and most were sold in advance.The average price was around $350 with one shaft. I have one left but it isn't for sale. I plan on using it when they put me in the nursing home. This is basically what they looked like.

Jack.. awhile back we talked in the cue gallery about your cues.. i believe either you or somebody else posted a picture of wraps you have done with crazy patterns or something.. can you repost that pic? i tried looking but i couldnt find it..

Thanks for the reply Jack, AND the pics. It really is a shame you stopped making cues, but I'm sure your cases make up for it! Even though you didn't build them from scratch, I'm sure they were very nice. Alot of cue-makers don't build their sneaky-pete's from scratch anyways, but I'm sure you knew this.
