Hello Everyone,
I am interested in purchasing a Jack Kompan cue and have a couple questions: 1. Tried to contact Jack using the phone number on the wesite multiple times with no luck. Any idea of a better way to reach him? 2. Does anyone have a Mystick cue they would like to sell?

Hmmm....

Captain K might have one....not sure if he still does or not...there was one on craigslist here in Dallas a couple of weeks back to....As far as reaching him...I'm not sure...I think he might have retired...(not sure)

I do believe Jack compan is retired but I can put you in contact with someone who may want to sell a very nice Mystic cue. Let me know.

Mystick Cues

I always wondered about the Ball Buster with the purple heart shaft. I regret not trying one out when I saw Jack at a Fast Eddies tour stop in College Park Texas. Now that I am back in Virginia I contacted him to find out that they are out of stock but expect to have more Ball Busters in a few months.

Has anyone ever tried the Ball Buster Break cue?

I can put you onto a real nice Kompan Sneaky Pete cue at a very good price. The butt is in perfect condition and rolls perfectly straight. The shaft looks new but has a hairline crack starting verticley up the center of the shaft. hardly noticable. Still very playable. If interested call 208-863-0177 or email lcbur@cableone.net

I'm not sure about his playing cues...or his breakers...


But his Jumping Jack is an excellent jump cue...
it hits the ball really good and jumps effortlessly.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering Matt how you like the Kompan Mystick cue you picked up at SBE?

I can tell everyone that Jack is still active and quite a wonderful character. His phone is working again.

I have since bought a cue from Jack and love it. In fact I just ordered 2 more plus I have one of his jump cues and will be getting one of his break cues when he finishes the group he is making.

All of his cues are 60" and have a wonderful balance. They are on the light side but that is perfect for me. He does not use any weight bolts.

If you are looking for a quality player at a reasonable price I suggest that you give him a call.
 
The ghost of Mystick Cues

For those who still care, my first attempt at retirement failed. Mystick Cues is not currently aggressively marketing but is working with all interested parties who call and honoring ALL requests for warranty work.

Sorry, an investigation into the cause of all this confusion disclosed it to be me, recent health scare issues turned out to be less than we thought.

We will continue like this until my 75th birthday (1/21/202) when I will start my new career as an Artintine Tango sex icon. Anyone interested in starting training as the next Mystick Cue guy may start now.

Now taking sign ups for Tango starting early 2012.

The future of Mystick Cues

A thousand appologies but I let my website laps by a couple of days and refuse to pay Go Daddy an 80 dollor penalty on what should be a $7.95 fee.

I have about two dozen tiffanies in stock along with four Super Sneaks. My activity definitly is scaling down toward yer end.

Still looking for a wannabe cue maker to take over Mystick Cues. Includes equipment and a fabulous assortment of wood. If you are interested and half nuts, give me a call.
 
I still miss the purpleheart super sneak i had:frown: I personally think most 3/8-10 pin cues hit like Mcdermott's, or worse, but not these. That conical taper is the nutz:thumbup:
