Not sure how they hit but dont buy one thinking your getting something that is worth anything because they have horrible resale value and no collectability

I haven't hit a lot of different makes of custom cues so I can't really compare my Jacoby to others. I can say that I really like the hit of mine and I like it better than the Lucassi that I used before getting the Jacoby and it isn't that the Lucassi felt bad, the Jacoby is just better.

I have the B17 model. The workmanship is just impeccable. Every point and joint is perfect. Very good stick and pricing isn't to bad either.

Im not looking for a collectable, and I really dont care about the resale value, I want playability, affordable playabilty, I couldnt see playing as much as I do with a really expensive exotic cue, It would in no doubt cause me to worrie to much, This is a C-7 and is under 500$ not cheap, but I like the look and hopefully it will play well.

I just dont know what to expect, hard hit, soft, and wondering is driving me nuts... and Im sure alot less people proboly own a Jacoby C-7 than a schon STL8

I like the B-17, I started to with B-3 or B-4, I wanted only birdseye maple and ebony, then I looked at C-7 and made my decision to go with it..

I could have bought a more exotic cue, Honestly I havent seen Ebony and birdseye maple look better. that sold me. I can hardly wait to try it.

I think 'hard or soft' will depend on the tip you put on it. As far as the stick is concerned I would describe my Jacoby as hitting solid. It doesn't vibrate if that means anything to you.

I just got my Birdseye Maple X-Breaker (without wrap). It and the B17 look very nice sitting beside each other.

I shot with one a few games while I was in Vegas about 4 months ago. I was very impressed with how well it played. I think my next stick will be a Jacoby.

Actually some people buy pool cues to play with them. When you are getting a cue that plays so well who cares about resale value and collectibility. you will never want to get rid of it anyway. The resale value might be low only because his new ones are so reasonably priced.:)

i have had the B-13 Model for about a year. very nice cue, would highly recommend. however, for $800 i am not sure i couldnt have done better. probably could have got just as good as playing cue for less. but i liked the looks of the B-13 Model, so i purchased one.

you cant go wrong with a Jacoby if your looking for an excellent playing cue.

I didnt day they didnt play good they play OK for a low to mid range custom but a Jacoby in both playability and quality is a far cry from other cuemakers such as Gina, Schick, Jowwest, Tascarella, Richard Harris etc etc etc...

you wont be disapointed with your jacoby i love mine hits very well ,i have played with about 10 different jacobys an they all play great,....p.s. i have a custom jacoby for sale going to post pics as soon as i can

Jacoby cues anad the Jacoby family are one of the best people and product in this industry.

Their jump cue is one of the best on the market.

Buy buy buy Jacoby!

last jacoby I hit with was balanced very forward, probably about 21.5" from the butt of the cue. Hit nice, liked it alot. To me it just felt like a nice hitting cue, but I do tend to like forward balanced cues.

It may have just been that cue that had that balance point of course, don't see many jacoby's around my little pond.

Jacoby Cue

I recently had a Jacoby cue made and love it. I had the cue done in all Birdseye including the joint. The joint in stained the same color as the wrap area. The finish on the cue makes it look wet. EXCELLENT craftsmanship. When you feel the cue everything is perfectly smooth. Can't feel inlays, joint or ferrule. The cue does hit harder than my previous cue, however, I believe a new ferrule will fix this. I have a 314 shaft and it hits harder than other 314s. Plays great, price is great and it is made exactly how I want for under $600. Can't go wrong.

Here is a picture of the cue...
