Jacoby Custom Cues?

Im not happy

I finaly recieved the Jacoby cue yesterday, upon inspection I found that the shaft had a slight wobble, the ferrule had black specs, the stainless joint had a nick, as well as the butt cap... what gives? Im likely going to return the cue, I'll try to post some pics today sometime..

anyone have a Number to contact Jacoby?

Nicks on the joint & butt cap sound more like the person who sent the cue. Why wouldn't you contact Billard Warehouse? If the shaft is unplayed with a wobble & specs in the ferrule then I'm sure Jacoby would replace that shaft if Billiard Warehouse doesn't.

I dont mean to sound negitive, and I havent heard back from billiardwarehouse yet.

I am somewhat disapointed.. I have taken the time to inspect the cue further and the cue seems very solid and well made, the wrap, I dunno what Jacoby does, but the wrap is smooth, silky and very shiny..I can also say the pic @ billiard warehouse doesnt do it justice, the cue is really nice looking, but Im sure you would feel the same way buying a brand new cue and finding the things I did...

If I could just get the shaft replaced I would be happy with the cue. Greg@ billiardwarehouse is a nice guy, and he made sure the cue arrived here before christmas, so I cant say anything bad about them, this is just a small problem and I am sure it will be resolved.

I was thinking the exact same thing....Who really knows how long BW has had that cue, how they stored it, and how many people have "tried" it...

I'll add that Dave Jacoby contacted me himself, and was willing to fix the cue, instead I went with a FURY RP-9. There is no doubt id rather have the Jacoby, but Dave did not reply back to me on the shaft, whitch I felt was to yellow and showed alot of sugar.. so I ask for a better grade of shaft, with no reply. This is why I went with a differnt cue, nothing against Jacoby...

I cant say anything bad about the billiardwarehouse either, Greg is making an effort to make it right with me, and has never been negitive and has always been polite and very helpful, I rushed him to get the cue out, and he said he did not have time to inspect the cue before delivery.

It was just one of those things that happen.. when I get the FURY cue I'll be sure to post my feedback of it..
