Jacoby Edge Hybrid shafts

i have ordered a Jacoby S.P. to be made and am considering an Edge Hybrid shaft. how does the Edge compare to the Predator 314-2? any input will be appreciated. thanks, Ron

This may be just a personal opinion,but I have predator,smartshaft,ob and jacoby edge shafts,and right now I am in the process of getting the edge shafts for all my playing cues.I think they supply a feel,a touch,,,while giving me the least amount of deflection.

Hey Ron, I have lots of shafts including the Predator 314. I recently had the chance to use a cue with a Jacoby Hybrid shaft and liked it so much I am ordering a custom one to fit an old Olivier I have for my league playing cue. The Jacoby shaft seems to play very similar to a standard maple shaft but with less deflection. While it took me quite a while (3-4 weeks) to become comfortable with a Predator 314 it only took about 5 minutes to feel comfortable with the Jacoby. I do not have any experience with the Predator 314 - 2 so I can't help you there.. I also own several McDermott I shafts and prefer the Jacoby over those for the same reasons as the Predator. Hope this is of some help, you never know till you try.
