someone upset her in the Tony Chohan thread and she has not been back....AZer's loss.

She is missed. I sent her a PM telling her she was missed and asked her to return. Her answer was....well, actually I'm still waiting on her answer.

"I will continue to update the http://www.MikeSurber.com website with new information as it occurs.

It is not possible to engage in pool-related colloquy on this forum without getting slammed by somebody you don't even know. It takes a lot of balls to come on a forum, not knowing who the person is.

Sort of reminds me of a couple other people I know, but I won't get involved in that.

As far as AzBilliards goes, as you can see, it is not worth it. Keith is right, once again. Believe it or not, he's standing right here, watching me write this as I'm crying tears.

Thanks for the good memories, AzBilliards, but it's now time for me to move on. This forum climate has changed over the years, most likely growing pains and forum culture in general, but there's not enough pool-related content here that interests me anymore.

I've tried to contribute as much as I can to make this forum a better place, and for what?! "

Hi,
It is sad that a meek personality can be manipulated in such a manner. How hard is it to tear someone else down? In our society the outspoken are heard. Does that right supersede anothers right to be heard in the context of their choosing? To express oneself in sadness, concern, support, and love owns the high ground. We should all be so lucky to have a friend like Jam.

JAM is a wonderful lady, I think perhaps her and Keith took a nice vacation or are just living life. I wish them both the best and was glad to have met JAM in person.
P.S. Looking forward to taking them both to dinner.

I think she made a right choice ... I mean if you get to the point where you are crying over forum postings then perhaps this isn't the right place to hangout.

Everyone has different perspective and priorities in life but, to me, there are far more important things in life to cry over than what he/she said in an internet forum about pool.

But, it's been my experience that people who PUBLICLY say goodbye on the forum typically come back .. often using same user name or under different name. People who truly leave for good are like old soldiers .... they just fade away.

That was the problem. She wasn't crying over what someone said in a forum about pool. She was crying over personal attacks from what someone said about her.

If you post on a public forum there is always the possibility of personal attack.

Unfortunately, JAM has never learned to ignore idiots.
