The points look ebony, is that just because the flash hit the butt and not the forearm? Are the rosewood points the same tone as the butt in the pics?

Its the camera.

actually the butt is a little darker than that and the points are little lighter. Because of the bigger piece of brazilian in butt there are dark and light grains. It matches in person.
