Wednesday – January 14
6:30 p.m. - Open Mini tournament - $35 entry fee ($10 greens fee/$25 entry)
Limited to 64 players - Single elimination – race to 7

Thursday – January 15
6:30 p.m. Music City Open – REGISTRATION CLOSES – Limited to 128 players
Music City Open Auction-$6000 Guaranteed added
Pays 25% of the field - Entry fee: $100 ($75 entry - $25 green fee)
Double elimination, race to 11, winner breaks

Friday – January 16
12 p.m. - Music City Open continues
5 p.m. - Music City Ladies Division – REGISTRATION CLOSES - Limited to 48 Players
Auction followed by 1st round - $1000 Guaranteed added - Pays 25% of the field
Entry fee: $75 ($60 entry - $15 green fee) - Double elimination, race to 7, winner breaks

Saturday – January 17
12 p.m. - Music City Open continues
10 p.m. - Winner Take All 9-Ball - $500 Entry fee (Must register w/sponsor on site)
Limited to 8 Players - Single elimination, race to 11, winner breaks

Sunday – January 18

Is Smoking still allowed here too, still? ...

Here's another great event...but on Barboxes...its 9-ball Texas express [piss-in to win pool tournament]... man really, where is pool headed?...

Ok, does the 9 rack on the spot *(like at Derby this year -2015')/ or count in the bottom 2 pockets, ...At least Call 9 right? Soft break allowed? Regular rack or magic rack type? Another 'break-fest' freak show?

It would be nice if it where "9-ball" but with 10-ball rules? (.. Pissing in balls to win a set or lose a set $$$ is SO old school/ so 'yester-year'...the basic "fair game" 'rant'), We all are looking for something to support in pool that promotes healthy/fairer competition. Something to consider when putting up large purse money *(or at anytime really).

How many more years until we get to watch/play 'real competitive pool'? We need a different approach to grow the sport for all. imo Help the promoters see this and we'll all benefit.

Yes this is a rack your own tournament. The nine on the break does not count in the bottom two pockets.
 
It's $100 entry guys. It's a great tournament for the fans to mix it up with the big dogs. Race to 11 winner breaks.

We saw Larry Nevel run out a set with an 8 pack at this, in the finals, only to have Johnny Archer come right back with 8 or 9 of his own and win the tournament.

All of the final matches and TV table matches will be in the lower room which is non-smoking.

Always look forward to this event. It's also a great place for action. Some come just for that.

Americas Best is where most people stay. It's the host hotel.

I tried something different this year and did a 2.5 star on Priceline, Goodletsville, $43 a night Express deal. didn't have to bid. They put me at the Best Western.

Americas Best is the closest. There's also a Comfort Inn right there too. I would NOT recommend the places really close by JOB's.

Thursday is just one round Joey. Not sure about Friday. I'll see if Steve Macdonald can shed some light.

Last year was definently standard rack. Pretty sure it will be this year as well. There were a ton of complaints regarding the magic rack on a bar box. Could be wrong but pretty sure I'm not.
