This is NOT an open event. You may play if you have not had a 5-6th or better finish in any major tournament. ie Fast Eddies 9Ball Tour, Midwest 9 Ball Tour, Joss Northeast Tour etc.

We have a council to determine eligibility for players that do not play in tournaments or may have had a 5-6th or better finish with extenuating circumstances.

Please call to see if you qualify. To "GET ON THE LIST" you must call when you are leaving your area or mail your entry FEE in early. You must be present at 10:00am PAID OR NOT or any "stand-by" players will be awarded your spot. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you pay ahead and can't make it by 10:00am and you lose your place to a stand by, you WILL get a full refund.

To pull this off in 1 day we must start ON time.

There will be NO more seeding. All draws will be random!

Break & Run

The break and run pot will start at $56 this month! Plus everyone that enters!

Alberto Nieto made 6 balls this month and won $18. Nick Martinez broke dry!

Wow! I missed it. That's got to be the new record for sure. After having a phenolic tip put on by James Hanshew, I made four at Q Cue today. That's the new record for me, but sadly didn't have a shot.
 
Here's to another year of for this great event. I am looking forward to playing as many as I can.

It's actually a break & run. Alberto made 2 on the break and the ran 4 more! The pot was paying $3 a ball.

Next months pot will start at $56.

Ah! I got mixed up with GQ's most-balls-on-the-break contest. BTW, they got rid of the break & run contest, since the top guns had a better chance of running out.

Tournament Schedules!

Scheduling events so the players can go is vital to our sport! IMO.

Kim White has chosen to move her tournament at Bogies to the same day as this event, from the 10th, to co-ordinate with an 8ball tournament on the 10th. I know many of us mid-level players, myself for sure, would go down and donate if it was on the 20th. It's not though.

Now you have to decide.

Compete against the champions at Bogies or against other mid-level players.

Seems like a "no brainer" to me!!

Any top level players that would like to match up in Waco during the tournament. I can arrange for a 9ft table.

well there is a new AZ King of Texas, Rackem Zachem Zach Ballas
took the Fire cracker Tara 2 out of 3 sets.
9-5 Tara, 3-1 one pocket, 5-2 banks, 1:45 am end time
Will there be a challenger to the new King?

there is already a long line.....congrats to zac on a tough win.....and congrats to tara for being a great queen.....now i wonder what she will pick for the tiebreaker for the next challenge!
