Anybody know if Shaw is still in NY, or did he go back home? If still in NY, has he been matching up with any of the top players? I like to keep track of him as I think he will be something special very soon. He said on TAR that he might move to the US soon. That would be cool. If he was in the states either he or SVB would go broke. :eek: Johnnyt
 
If he moves here we will see how good he gets. Right now all he needs is to stop shooting those low percentage shots that give little chance of a reward. Johnnyt
 
A week ago he played the scotch doubles match at Steinway. It's on YouTube. In the TAR podcast he mentioned he was going back to Scotland in April. The impression I got was that he would return to the USA soon.

That scotch doubles match was for $5k, winning team take all. I believe the money was put up by Steinway but not sure.

as i understand it-Unless you have some sort of special visa which he just might be eligible for, he has to return to UK every 6 months. It used to be you could come back 2 weeks later. I think they might have tightened up the rules lately.
