I would say that you're obligated to the first person who agreed to pay your price! I personally would never deal with anyone who I contacted about a cue and then they told me, "Well, I got another offer today so you're going to have to pay more."

Sounds like the honorable thing as well on second thought...

Hunter, kidshark@yahoo.com...and I got your address already.

I guess I need to explain a little...I had traded my Jerry Rauenzahn which I had 600 in for the Jazz cue. I was hoping to get a little more than 450 for it...but I felt that anything is better than nothing is why I set my price so low.

I am sure you will be quite happy with it Steve.

I was gonna say, what country are you from? If someone says $450, then another guy goes higher, without a signed contract, why take less? I like America even if I get the short end sometimes. Better than having someone price my stuff for me.

Oh well...

At any rate, I might have gone a little higher, but probably not enough to make it worthwhile. Perhaps someday I'll regret not checking my email every five minutes (usually cues sit out here at least a day before someone buys), but I'm glad to see that you accomplished your goal, Shorty.

Congrats, Hunter! You are going to have a very pretty cue.

Thanks again Steve, again I know you are a straight up guy and I was paid very promptly. The only reason I considered auctioning it was to try and get a little more for it...can't blame a midget for trying.

The cue will go out either tomorrow or Friday at latest. I work 7:30 to 6, so hoping the wife will ship it for me tomorrow.

If it means a cue going OUT of your house, I'll bet your wife would be ECSTATIC about shipping it! lol :D

I guess its a copy of a McWorter based on this comment? Well I honestly have no idea...but from the price of McWorter cues, he is making up his cut off everybody else.

Sorry...but that's my opinion...and I am allowed to have one.

Did some looking around a while back and the cue is indeed based on the Pinnacle cue. I have talked to Tony about this as there was another thread that saw one of the cues he made come from the Gargoyle by Schick -- although the scrimm on his cue was a dragon and had less scrimm work on the spears. Apparently, Jeff has called his attention to it as well.

Tony says clients give him designs to work on. Some he recognizes, some he could not. But he makes it a point mark the Jazz logo prominent. He has more people (local and requests from Japan and Taiwan) to make identical cues -- even the logo. These he turns down. I guess the people see how versatile a craftsman he is. But he is not a connoisseur.

He says he will be designing cues that he wants to sell through ebay as he does not maintain a website -- he only has an email address. They will start out simple and priced for players (500-800 shipped). They will feature spliced handles, laminated cores, threaded on critical parts. Finally, he will include a shaft that will be resin impregnated with a lifetime warranty on warping. He might use my ebay account for this as I don't mind. These will definitely be original designs. ;)
