Sold - Thank you

This is one of our cases from the Mason series. It is all saddle leather dyed to a rich medium brown. It features an 18" lower pocket and a 7" upper pocket. The lower pocket has a zippered compartment for a jump cue handle on one side and our L-zipper on the other side for easy access. The upper pocket has our hand-built magnetic latch for the flap and a zipper on each side to allow complete and easy access to the pocket.

The lid is closed using our hand-made magnetic puzzle latch. The case comes with a side handle and shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is easily removable and it has a comfortable non-slip pad.

For the back we elected to hand sew the seam in order to make it very clean and understated. -guilt trip- this type of blind sewn seam takes about four hours to sew as opposed to 30 minutes for a line of rivets. Now you can impress your friends with that tidbit of knowledge.

We put in a brown interior made of our soft fabric backed by cushy foam rubber to hold your cue snugly.

A little testimonial about that from a recent Mason case customer - quoted verbatim;

THIS IS A TRUE STORY LAST NIGHT I GRABBED THE CASE OUT OF THE TRUNK OF MY CORVETTE AND CARRIED IT INTO MY HOUSE.......NOW FOR THE BEST PART WHEN I WENT TO SET MY CASE DOWN I REALIZED I HAD PICKED THE CASE UP BY THE STRAP HOWEVER I WAS HOLDING THE CASE UPSIDE DOWN ALL THE WAY INTO MY HOUSE FROM THE GARAGE. JOHN I HAD MY MONSTER TASCARELLA(7K-9K) IN IT IN FACT I HAD TAKEN IT OUT OF THE FELLINI STYLE TASCARELLA CASE YOU MADE AND BECAUSE OF THE INTERIOR OF THE CASE MY CUE IS STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION. SO YOU CAN TELL THAT STORY AS ITS A TRUE EXAMPLE OF THE PROTECTION YOUR INTERIORS OFFER. WELL ENOUGH OF MY BLABBERING......
AGAIN THANK YOU JEFF

So there you go. If that's not enough to make you want to pay twice the price then I will let you have it for the regular retail price but it's first come first serve.

Solid looking case JB....I really like the look, and idea behind the slip resistant bar on the bottom. Great Case.....Very simple, very functional! Keep up the good work!

Hey John,

I Love these cases...!!!

I guess I'm going to have to pick up one of these; one of these days!

But we'll have to tweak it a bit.

Thank you. It's currently my favorite but my wife won't let me keep one. She says I have to buy it. :-)

Sure thing. My email is jb@jbideas.com Probably better if you email Karen though at karen@jbideas.com as I am somehow psychologically averse to answering emails on time.

What is the weight of the case and any chance of photo with 3x4 configuration in use?

Also can you tell me which shipping companies are available? Last time I got something via DHL Int'l, I had issues with them.

John.. I have more cases than cues now...thanks to u...starting to look like the "spicegirls" of the pool hall..fancy cases but no play...

I'm liking this style more and more...hmmm....we might need to talk soon!

4lbs empty. We can ship by UPS or FedEx, just costs a little more.

I do have photos of this model as a 3x4 but not on the website yet. Tomorrow when I am in the shop I will take some pictures of this exact case as a 3x4 and update the thread.

If you take one of the boards I sent you and cut it vertically down the center and place the two halves face to face you will know how this interior works. This configuration forms a third cavity in the center which can be used for a another butt or shaft.

I made a video showing how the case works with 2x5 and 3x4 configurations, what the weight is, and what the max length is that can be stored in the case.

I love your pockets. Brilliant design. I personally lean towards "harder cases", but this looks like a great case for going to and fro.

Thank you. I also make a version of this case with a hard shell in the front and back. You can see the review of one here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=242939

This one being reviewed is almost the same case as the one for sale but the difference is that we put "armor" in it.

We could also make one with a full tube inside as we have done with the Chas case models we make. http://www.jbcases.com/chas.html

Heh this is funny!! Don't mean it sarcastically.
John already have a Murnak in his workshop I've seen it. Just sell what you have and buy the JB, you won't regret it. Just check how many used JB Custom Cases are for sale in the 2nd hand market and you'll see why they're good..people generally don't part with their JB cases and it ages so well..worthy investment!
