Just curious, could we possibly see some original designs that came out of the JB shop?

I mean it's always "in the style of" or "tribute" how about something that isn't a copy of something else?

We believe in giving credit to our influences. Our cases are not copies. They are simply leather containers. When we say in the style of then it means that the first contact we had with a particular style was the one that influenced us to to try to work in that style.

Giving credit and naming the genre also allows the viewer to research that style of case and make their own comparisons. In this way they can see where we have deviated and added our own innovation in design.

When I browse the cue listings here I often come across cues listed as having been done in the Szamboti style, or the Balabushka style, or as in your case recently, with a Hoppe ring. Our cases which pick up where past masters have left off are no different. We give credit to those influences in the same way you do.

If, however, by original designs you mean cases that were not done in any particular style or genre then I can certainly provide you with some examples as requested.
