So I have to start by giving credit where credit is due. This case I’m having made was inspired by a Al Kinghorn case. I saw it and was absolutely was my favorite case ever, had to have one similar to it.

This is the sketch for my new JB and I’ll post pictures as it goes. It’s going to be some sort of black leather (can’t decide on alligator print, suede looking leather, or regular black leather), python leather print, and burgundy tooled leather.

The couple things I’m changing from the Sketch are putting the strap on the back, that and I didn’t pick a font that matched very well to the case style.

Thanks for looking. Any suggestions for the black leather is appreciated. 😏

Looks great, and you definitely couldn't hide the fact that it was heavily inspired by Al Kinghorn's work, which is a good thing as Al's work is top notch.
 
So the case is done! I would like to start by saying thank you to John and Karen Barton for making a case that is in my opinion, perfect. They were both great to work with for all three cases I've had made by them. The quality and protection is, in my opinion, second to none. When I talked to John about it I asked if they did a Justis/King style case, and he said he won't copy that style but we could make something all my own. I showed him the leathers and tooling I wanted and we combined the style of previous cases that they had made to make my case.

Unfortunately it's a week late because UPS lost it. But it arrived today and it all worked out.

The case is a burgandy-brown leather with tooling, black gator print leather, and white and black python print leather.
