Are the ferrules, butt cap and inlays ivory? What is the type of wrap, lizard? Is the joint capped ivory or solid?

Thank you.
Jim

Gee, I'm surprised the whole cue isn't ivory for $450.. Sorry Jim, I just couldn't resist.. Joel doesn't use ivory in his cues due to customs restrictions but I can tell you this cue will play as good or better than anything in this price range.. Just ask anyone who has one..

Yes couldn't agree more! I do own a 2010 and I can only say Joel's cue in terms of craftsmanship, performance... Etc. it will just only get better. This is a beautiful one and for 450?!! It would have been mine long ago if I didn't already have one!

I thought I saw some figuring in the joint when I enlarged it. Guess not. I bought a nice cue (lightly used) last week w 2 ivory ferrules, Hoppe ring and solid ivory joint for 550 with a used vinyl case. I have enough cues to play with. I'm looking for good investments. I'm sure Joel makes a fine hitting cue. The quality of his work looks very nice. Just not what I'm looking for. A better description would have eliminated my stupid questions. Thank you. Jim
