Jean Balukas - why did she stop?

I don't fault Robin. Balukas trash talked during a match and it pissed Robin off. She decided, OK the hell with you I'm lodging a complaint. She'd have no way of knowing what the TDs would do, but she had every right to say she didn't like what happened. Which is not unreasonable if an opponent pisses you off. At that point, it was in the hands of the TDs and between Jean and them. You can't fight City Hall and Jean should have shrugged her shoulders, bitten the bullet and taken her revenge on the table.
That's a mans way of doing things. Women are emotion based creatures and once that line gets crossed, cat fight!! It's on.
They will cut their nose off to spite their face and have a good cry about it later on.
I don't really know who the picture is depicting, but I was the one who brought the thread back- it was actually one of the first results I got when I did a google search of Jean after listening to the Ewa interview.

Here's kind of a funny Balukas story. This is like 1970 or 71 at the US Open and she's only about 10 or 11 years old. She had a kind of a Fellini style case and she leaves it leaning against the bleachers and she's running around underneath with some other kids playing.
Sure enough here comes some guy tries to grab her cue. There's no matches going on and we're just sitting up in the bleachers hanging out and I see this. I got right up and go down there and ask Guy what's the deal with you and the cue and he looks at me and stutters out something like I was just looking at it.
Little bit later she comes back and I told her I said where's your mom and dad you should give them your cue and don't leave it laying around and she takes the cue and off she goes. She never knew she almost lost her Balabushka.
I was also there the year she won the US Open 100 to 99 against an oriental girl I think her name was Harada. That was also incredibly the same year that the men's finals a few hours later was won by Joe Balsis against Rempe 200 to 199. Rempe missed the game ball.
Before the men's match I think it was Conrad Burkman doing the announcing mention the ladies match earlier saying well I hope we don't have something like that again. Little did he know.
