Anyone have any info on Jeanette Lee's telescoping pool cue? Saw her using one on an ESPN telecast (playing against Ewa Lawrence).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Without a screen grab or even posting a video of the cue, it will be a little hard to guess further.

Her Black Widow series cues do not have an extension option so this may be an inaccurate guess, but is it a Deroo style extension?

Someone should make one that telescopes like old tv/radio antennae!

I haven't seen Lee's extension. But, about 20 years ago I saw a guy at a tournament that had a bridge made like an older car antennae. No idea where he got it, but it worked real well and would extend out about nine feet. Haven't seen one since. Always was surprised that no one else has come up with the idea.

Maybe because there is always a bridge under the table and you can bring your own bridge (the end part only) and attached it to your break cue or house cue.

I can ask her. She moved to Tampa and runs the APA league with another couple.

I made one out of a selfie stick a few weeks ago. It'd work great but I m too afraid to bring it to a pool room as I'm already geeky enough. One of the bullys would grab it and play keep away from me. Ahh....bad memories of recess on the school ground. Mitch

John,

Here is the extension Brandon Jacoby installed on my Schon cue a few years ago. Is this what she had?

Did that extension change the hit of the cue? I am considering a schon with this.

When the extension is out, it hits very different. I'd call it "twangy". As I only use it for infrequent shots and mostly 14.1, the hit didn't matter. With the extension in, you would never know it's there. Brandon kept the butt weight the same as stock. He does great work!
