I see Jeff Kennedy is prevailing over some marquee names: McCready, Davenport, Feijen, etc. Who IS this guy?!

He was so small at the time that they made some custom stilts for him so he could reach the balls. He has won numerous provincial (same as state) title in snooker, 8 ball and nineball. He is a very focused shooter and his confidence and game are starting to go to another level. He has played in 2 WPC's with some very respectable wins. Jeff also owns a poolhall here in town, probably the best one here. Well kept 4 1/2 x 9 tables. So if you ever in Saint John stop by JK's Corner Pocket, great hall, great staff.
Keep your eye out for him, its not the last you will be hearing from him.![]()

pete lafond said:Watch out. He plays without flair, medium stroke and solid position. Anyone watching him would probably say he is a good basic player. Very unsuspecting. You just do not notice him at first, wonder what he is doing there and then by surprise your drawn to his keen ability to play. What a player and what a great pleasure to watch.

Sundance Kid said:To Koop, I think I have a pretty good idea of who you are, and no worries, about cheering against me, gotta support the hometown boys, by the way I love Fenway Park, it's gotta be the best place to watch a ball game, especially when the Yankees are in town, I had the chance to watch Clemens pitch his first game back in Fenway as a Yankee, it was a lot of fun.
Congrats. on a great tourney, from 6 fellow Ca. there watching. You played great and the way you conducted yourself did us all proud.Sundance Kid said:It's me again, JK. My last post just said thanks to my Canadian support, I can see now that I forgot about big brother, the U.S.A., how could I do that, sorry guys.
To Pete, of your description of my playing I found myself saying thank you out loud, as a snooker player who fell in love with 9-ball there were a lot of changes that I had difficulty with over the years, the big ones were stance, stroke, bridge, and the break! Nothing real important, ehh! ( I had to throw an ehh in there, ehh...lol). The equipment was top notch, the tight pockets, good balls, and cloth, really forces you to play well, Mike Zugland did an excellant job with the tournament, equipment, and venue.

To Celtic, I will be in Calgary in Nov. 19-20 at Stixx Billiards for The Canadian Falcon 9-ball tour, Jim Wych, an Alberta boy, has been doing a lot of work with this tour and has set-up 5 stops this year with 2 being slated for Calgary, the first in Nov. and the second in April. I am a big Flames fan too, we had their farm team in my home town for several years, and even won a Calder Cup. Look out for the Flames this year in the NHL, they are going to be a strong team... I hope. Anyway gotta run and do some real work, that sucks, much prefer the pool-playing and golfing.See ya all later, and remember to "strok'em straight"!
