Here are the 2 latest cues from Jeff Olney. They are Balabushka style with all Ivory in one and traditional delrin and stainless in the other. The wraps are genuine kangaroo leather that I installed

Jeff does some really nice work. Everything as it should be!!

Nice leather wraps Shawn. I love the buttery soft kangaroo leather wraps!!

Nice. Love the clean classical design.

It appears as if both are bascially the same except for the joint. Can you feel the difference in the two cues? If so what feel do you like better, the SS or ivory joint?

Nice cues by Jeff Olney again!
He never fails to impress me with his fine work.
Looks like his orders will be piling up soon. ;)

I am personally an Ivory joint guy. That cue also has an ivory buttcap, the other is delrin. The ringwork is ivory also. The leather wraps were put on by me. He is making 2 more for me with the same style. The veneer colors are different between these 2. His waiting list is already approaching 4 years.

My upcoming cue.....

....will be very similar, but with all ivory inlays in the points and buttsleeve. Hehehehehehhehehehe!!!

Skip Weston Titlist Bushka Cue

i am also making one bushka design cue from Skip Weston with a brazilllian rosewood titlist blank i have. Same MOP arrangement in points, but the butt is using banks of pearlised plastic and MOP. Will post pics when done i guess.

Best Regards

I personally think ivory MOPs in points and buttsleeve with a bushka design is not too nice. Doesnt convey that classic look.. sort of like a hybrid and u cant call it a bushka copy ...

I like Cranegod design better...

Just my 2 cts :)

100% agree

Thanks Cranegod1, I agree Jeff makes a superb cue, playability, fit and finish are A++. I’ve been working with Jeff since 2001 a true craftsman, all my Olney’s from the first purchased in 2001 to the most recent in 2006 continue to roll true, play great and look fantastic.

Personally I think the way he puts his name on the butt screams production line cues, I'm not a fan of that mark.

I'm with JimBo on the name part. I think it's too much distraction from the cue. I also don't like Thomas Wayne's signature for similar reason.

All of Jeff's newer cues are hand signed as in the pics on this post.

I happen to like the "OLD" way some guys used to mark their work.
