Does Jennifer play anymore? I haven't seen her in any of the WPBA brackets lately or any updates on her web site and I also noticed that she's not listed in the Ask The Pros section anymore. Just wondering.

She is taking a break, to focus on raising her son. She is considering playing BCA next year and just having fun with pool, if she plays at all.

I kind of figured as much

Yeah, it's got be hard to run all over playing tourneys, not just for her, but her baby, too.
I travel a lot for work, and even adults are prone to getting sick because flights and stuff tend to put stress on your body/immune system.

BTW, I have a Jennifer Barretta "McDermott" cue that I'm looking to sell.
McDermott said they'll honor the lifetime maintenance and warranty even though they do not carry/manufacture the cue anymore.

Good for her. She really didn't have much else to prove on the tour. She climbed into the top 20 quickly. I've also heard she is a very good snowboard skier, was a bodybuilder and won titles, and was learning the trapeze before she got pregnant. Johnnyt

Well, there's definitely no better reason than that. Good for her!

There are no good reasons to stop playing pool. Pool is the shiznit. If I had kids, I would totally neglect the bastards to shoot some stick.
By the way, Wendy, 9-ball girl, what's up with that photo? You look like you want to sacrifice a lamb and drink the blood. I think your blood pressure is too high.

That's just wrong, I would throw some food on the floor first.

You look hot to me! Yummy.

You coming to Chesapeake? We need you for the CCB event, you know! Josh won't be the same without you there.

Brian in VA - missing a Wendy hug for several years now.....

Thank you suga! I don't think I'll be there this year but next year I may. Wow, it's been 3 years since I've been there. Who woulda thought? My interest is slooooooowly peaking again so we'll see. And you tell my Josh that I've not forgotten that big 'ole kiss I'm gonna give him when I see him again. Oh yeah.

That is fricken hilarious!!!! HAHHAAHAHAHAHAAHA!

Everyone in the poolhall thought I'd have the same mentality - I was a true poolhall rat/junkie - nothing was as important as shooting pool....but something took over and just like Jennifer (actually before her and twice!) I made the scrafice for my kids. It was so abrupt - I quit playing cold-turkey,............and like a bad habit, I actually got withdrawals...lol!

But good for Jennifer....she will be back for sure...even if it is just for fun. She was great for pool her looks, attitude, character. With all this Shanelle-talk just for comparison: Jennifer is a hottie and gorgeous with a great body and face (with no need for caked on makeup might I add). Classy and professional, and best of all - she is a player

We should be focusing our praise to people like Jennifer who endorse/advertise/project and possess not only physical beauty, but also the skill level to actually play the game they are trying to promote on a competitive level.
