Prototype bottom protection band. These gals are part of my R & D due to their world wide travel. Many times the cases are checked as baggage without any protection whatsoever. I am proud to say, no handle, lid or shouder strap failures after 15 years of service......that I know of.

How is it different than the bottom band on other Pro Lites?

Brass bands are used on cases to match brass hardware. Only a few cases were made with .020 aluminum to match silver hardware. We feel that the new stainless steel is a better choice and will hold up better over time. Upon request we will replace the aluminum bands with the stainless steel on a no charge basis.

Glad to hear it, the stainless steel should hold up nicely! :thumbup2:

The case I'm planning to order from you within the next month will have silver hardware & will now also use this same piece. :yes:
