jennifer in korea this week

Thank you! I won my first two matches, but just lost to Ga Young Kim. She's a phenomenal player, and I won't be surprised when she wins her first WPBA event. I have one more match tonight, so wish me luck and I will keep everyone posted. If anyone wants info on the other players, just ask. I believe Mika Immoned and Max Eberle just lost their matches but they were both on the winner's side. Thorsten Hohmann lost to Max yesterday, but defeated local favorite Jeong double hill today. Charlie Williams is still on the winner's side.

This tournament was a great excuse to see a part of the world I've never seen.

The food is awesome, but I must say...NY Korean food is pretty darn authentic. The prices are much better here, though. As far as late night action, are you talking pool or clubs? I guess it wouldn't matter which one you meant as I have not experienced either. The guys have been going out a lot at night, and from what I've heard there is not much action as far as pool. Now that I'm out of the tournament I may have to go check out the scene!

Jenn, I lived in Korea all of 2003. I was about an hour South of Seoul. Korea has a lot to offer to the tourist. Keep an open mind and a closed mouth (they will feed you anything). I hope you enjoy your travels.
