Jensen on ebay

They're GREAT cues!!!

I've got a Jensen. It's the cue in my avatar photo. Mine plays fantastic!

I've heard little snippets, here and there, about how Mike (Johnson) builds his cues...and how the techniques he uses creates a cue that plays lights out!

Rumor had it that he used to have issues with his clearcoats...but he has since fixed that problem...and now his cues stand up with the rest of the custom cuemakers out there.

He's been making cues since the late 60's or early 70's...so he's been around the block a few times, and knows how to make a cue right. He's also a really nice guy to talk to on the phone...and he's always eager to discuss the biz.

I concur with Rat. I have been buying Jensen cues for the last 10 years and I think they are fantastic. In that time I have owned about 30 Jensen cues and I have never had a problem with any of them. Well constructed and a superior hit. Most of these purchases were through Allen Avery, who lives a couple of doors from Mike Johnson in Baton Rouge. He knows Mike better than anyone. He sells Mikes cues and maintains his website. If anyone would like a Jensen, I can pass you his details. Here are a few pics of my previous cues.

I habe owned several Jensen cues over the years. One of the best buys for your money. His cues have not sky-rocketed like some cuemakers, but you can rest assured that they are very nicely made and play great.

I played with Rat's Jensen and I must say I thought the taper on the shaft was FLAWLESS. It played GREAT! If he tapers all of his shafts like that, then I will definitely buy one in the future.

Hey Si - I own that one now!! I had the forearm refinished by Mike and he removed some of the stain, so it's a bit lighter. It also has a white/brn spec wrap. I love that cue... :D

I got it from Tom B about a year or so ago.

Hey Ross

Hope you are well dude. Yes I sold this to Tom Breed a while back. Beautiful cue.

Say hi to him for me, we seem to have lost touch. He is a good guy.

I have had a couple of Jensen and they play very good. Mike is one of the best craftsman in cue building. I have had a players cue and this is my present Jensen.
