Jensen Titlist f/s from collection

Deceased
I recently traded for a titlist coversion by Mike Johnson of Jensen cues. And this description, is copied from the original post Due to the fact that we are in a TAXATION season I am forced to sell off some of my collection.. hence the following

Olney-Jensen007.jpg

The cue is played and in Excellent condition! The joint is solid ivory with a 3/8 10 pin. There is also an ivory hoppe ring in the butt. This cue comes with 4 shafts. I was told by the original owner that 2 shafts were made by Jensen and one was made by Joel Hercek. I have no proof of the Hercek made shaft other than his word. The fourth shaft is one I had and matches up good. The butt weighs in at 15.9oz. The shafts are 12.5mm 3.6oz ivory ferrule layered tip, Jensen. 12.6mm 3.6oz ivory ferrule layered tip, Jensen. 12.7mm 3.7oz Ivory ferrule layered tip, Hercek. 13mm 3.9oz linen ferrule layered tip, unknown. One of the shafts was made from the titlist blank. This shaft is obviously quite solid and well seasoned (darkest shaft). Condition of this cue is great! Wrap is Black Leather. I am selling to pay some taxes that have come up un-expectadly

Everything Rolls Straight. $1,250 shipped to US

Also have a Martinez curly birdseye w 2 shafts $650 link here http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=59677

and a Bacote leather wrapped sneeky I was told is from the shop of Thomas Wayne $350

email to joecal1956@yahoo.com or pm any questions

Thanks,
Joe

??

This is the same cue but it was involved in a trade and the original sellimg price -vs- what value i put on it are not related if you feel the price is out of your range don't buy it !!!

welcome to free trade, hope you post something to sell soon so i can shizzit on your parade as well......... have a nice day !

I was just trying to identify the cue, as I had been looking for the original Jensen/Hercek that was on ebay. I collect Titlist conversions and I have had Joel Hercek do shaft work for me in the past, so this cue was especially appealing. I also have a Titlist with a shaft made from the original cue, so I know how well these play.

Personally, I'm guessing this cue plays tremendously and also is beautiful in person.

I don't think your mark-up is that high for a dealer, and I doubt anyone who was serious about buying it would have failed to search the forum for additional pics/specs.

Good luck with your sale.

Here Joe - I gave your cue a plug and you are welcome to say whatever you want about mine: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=693158#post693158

If you put yours on ebay, I hope you do not have a problem with me bidding on it, as I don't think you are asking that much for it. Frankly, I was surprised it went so cheaply originally - the only reason I did not buy it was because a friend said he planned to win it. You know how that goes - I don't think he even bid.

nothing to say your cue is nice, at a very fair price yesterday was an unparticular rough day, I apologize for anything out of line... Good luck with the sale, and if interested let me know, i believe it is the same cue, took it in on trade from Cranegod, played with it last night as a test ride, excellent conversion, now back in case unless sold regretfully, to pay uncle sam

Joe, I have bought a few cues from Cranegod - they were always some of the best deals around. I am trying my best to avoid buying more cues, but good Titlist conversions made by cuemakers like Mike Johnson and Joel Hercek are tough to pass up. I am still kicking myself for not buying that Hercek Rambow Titlist a couple of years ago.
