Jeremy Jones

Jeremy was very impressive. The one pocket finals was the first time I have heard him and the 10 ball match with Shane and Mika was the second. His depth and insight into both matches far exceeds anything I have heard before. All the comments above are very accurate and to the bigger point - ESPN this is how pool is done. Sorry it takes more than 40 minutes to really enjoy a great match.

Totally agree! If only ESPN would put guys like this in the box. I'd vote for Joey and Jeremy. Joey makes a good straight man (the "color man" they call it) and Jeremy makes a great "analyst." Together a good teaming!

Yet another five star commentator :smile::smile::smile::smile:

His insight and ability to know what the player was about to do suggests that most of the truly world class players think pretty much alike in many situations. And their thinking leaves mine in the dust.

Enjoyed his comments and as usual learned some new things. What more could you ask for !

AZB has many people who readily find fault. It is nice to see that posters do not neglect the good stuff too. Suggests that much (not all) of the fault finding that is not wisecracking, is intended as helpful.

The commentating...

on the Galveston streams helped to overcome all of the technical glitches that were happening. It is to the promoters credit that these guys (and girls) were accessible to us. Hope they follow up with like product next year. I also hope that they get the "challenge" match money fixed for a better product and use some of it to reward such great commentating.

I think that the future of pool lies in great commentating like we heard, and that the commentators (the real ones) should be rewarded accordingly. Nick was his usual outstanding self with unbelievable knowledge, humility and words of wisdom, as was Joey. JJ took it to a whole new level here and was IMO the best I've ever heard. Anyone who has access to his ear, please pass along all of our thanks.

I learned more listening to this weeks live streams than I have in YEARS of playing. IMO the game will go to a whole new level if this is consistently available to the world.

TAP TAP TAP to JJ, and all the others!!

JJ has more knowlege on all games is easy to listen to. Joey A. and JJ are great together. Joey A. is the straight man and JJ gives the knockout blows.I've been around pool about 50 years and he does know 1 pocket as good as any player including the Magician with a more conservative approach. Thanks Joey A. and JJ FastEddieF says keep up the great work

Jeremy has always been one of the best commentators - I'm glad everyone finally got to hear his knowledge of the game and how well he can explain the shots for the fans.

Thanks also to JoeyA for putting all his time in the booth this week! You ROCK!

Can't add a thing to the earlier posts. I enjoyed the stream very much. JJ was a big part of this. He & Joey A make a great team.
