Jerry Forsyth: An offer of equal time.

Unbelievable!!!!!

In response to "arian dacongan's" post regarding Yen Makabenta's formal re-occuring column on AZB, I threw out the idea of AZB offering the same portal to any representative from the BMPAP.

In response Jerry stated that anyone from any side was more than welcome to state his/her/thier postion on the AZB Fourm. I must point out that this is not the same avenue that Mr. Makabenta enjoys and cannot be considerd equal time when regarding the state of Pool in the Philippines.

1. Becuase the columns on AZB are in a different more prominent location on AZB. Anytime column space is given to a writer all reader's automatically assume that the publisher (in this case AZB) values the writer's point of view on what ever subject they will be discussing.

2. Mr. Makabenta does not post in the forums (not to my knowledge, or recently anyway) thus there is no equal time.

So again I ask, will AZB offer the same privilege to any representative from the BMPAP on AZBilliards?

If yes or no please state why.

If the BMPAP is granted this privilege I am sure the writer will be aware that such an avenue demands objective, respectful and most of all professional care when crafting their position.

Kano

Equal Time

AZBilliards is always interested in skillful contributors. The BMPAP is certainly afforded the opportunity to submit a column. But we would expect that space to be used in a positive manner that promotes the sport of pocket billiards.

We will not have editorial space used as a place to fight a private war. That is not the purpose of the space. As it is certainly now a current news item the BMPAP is free to use an editorial to state their positions and their facts as concerns the current controversy. Obviously, potentially slanderous or libellous material will not be published.

when i started the thread about yen's face being on the frontpage..there is nowhere there in my statements that suggest i am accusing AZB of being impartial...just to be clear ok

my point there is my " personal annoyance" over seeing 4 pics of yen occupying all columns all in the frontpage as soon as you open AZB..i used to see contributor other than yen there before..and now it's back to where yen does not occupy all four pics there...and being one who have "BIG" issues with yen and cohorts- i just hated it...so i did not visit AZB for a while - not that AZB lost anything in me not visiting..

now on BMPAP using the columns..Edwin already expressed his views on that --he will not go back and forth with yen,,who uses the AZB column in a very "sweet " way..but being mr forsyth a knowledgeable person he/and they are..i don't see how they couldn't see yens sweet lies and deceptive statements((((that's a whole seperate issues in itself))))

that maybe is where my issue is with AZB,,like at some point yen said that bscp got most pro players playing for them when it was only marlon manalo (not with them anymore-eyes opened) they got...((((dead horse))))

the truth --i love AZB and even mr forsyth being a good commentator he is...IMHO,i do not think it is for AZB's best interest to keep on associating with raya/bscp/yen in a "siding" manner...this is just my opinion..in the long run- hope they see it and won't hurt future(whatever that means)

i do not want nothing but for AZB to be successful but IMHO(again) it's not helping AZBs image when "" looking like"" they are " so friendly" with yen and cohorts and his mal-intent agenda(((AND YEN IS PRETTY MUCH AGAINST (VISE-VERSA)ALL PHIL. PRO PLAYERS--THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED IN PHIL. POOL HISTORY...NORMALLY PINOY CUESTS ARE ONLY IN FOR PLAYING BUT THE JUST CANNOT SWALLOW YEN AND HIS SCHEME)..

It's up to BMPAP now . . .

There you have it, Mr. Forsyth stated that BMPAP will be allowed column space, under certain conditions.

Now the ball is in BMPAP's court. It's up to them if they want to commit to a re-occuring column on AZBilliards.

In my opinion they should take advantage of this opportunity because obviously they want their side to be heard. If they *do* choose to contribute they need to realize that they cannot write in the same fashion as posting in the forum. Any editioral column with worth reading needs to be polished and respectful without resorting to name calling. They should only present their side of the story in a sensible *civil* manner.

Back to the original posting by 'arian dacongan' obviously he does not like Yen Makabenta, thats fine and his opinion. But it seems it was more of an issue of the formatting of the splash page of AZB that was his biggest problem. He just got annoyed of seeing Yen's little little jpeg portrait every time he visited to AZB. :)

i was the very first one here in AZB to air my protest towards yen/bscp when they screw -up alex...and they are not stopping... even jerry said they are not in favor of what they did to alex,,,and they just kept on going with their corrupt ways,,

if i were anybody -- i would not have anything to do with this corrupt people regardless of what they offer me in the future--they are good at bribing people,,but deep inside -they are venomous vipers

kano

kano,,this is nothing about liking or disliking yen,,it's about his corrupt dealings towards the phil. pro pool players that infuriates me,,i'm just voicing my protest towards him and his cohorts...

i'm not alone here..the very peaceful phil. pro pool players are making a stand against yen and his corruption :( :(
