Jig diagram for making recut points

That was the one that I was going to link to too.

That one is on the wish list. If and when I get it, it just might put me over the Doodle limit this year.

Is it a bit pricey? Maybe but the cue maker that made these also makes and has made many more jigs. Like point jigs for a mill etc.

Are they worth it. In my opinion, if you can't design one and build it yourself, yes they are very much worth it.

These are the type of quality tools that you will only have to buy one in your life time and it can get passed on for pretty much zero loss after you are done with it.

Google recut points. A very good article and pictures if it is still on the web. Can't remember exactly but I think the makers name was Wayne and his Father may have built cues to.

If you can find it, and I hope you can, you will enjoy it.

If I remember, he put in his points, recut them and put in another 4, repeat process.

It was waynecustomcues. Doesn't seem to have a page any longer.
There is another, and I don't know if it is the same Wayne or not that has a cue blog. I searched it and couldn't find any archives. Maybe you can search it a bit better.

Kenny Murrell has a UTube vid but it is cnc and he does one point.

Other than this jig, Chris sells a point jig for the Deluxe. Pretty reasonable price. I bought one.
That would be your other option.
Not that I am a pro but if you can use the jig to cut an initial point, you should be able to set it to make recuts as wel. Same principle.

Thanks for all the info. I think if I want to make recut points before gluing in the cue I will design something,
