Nice pickup, Chris. I'm very interested to see pictures of the cue. Congratulations.9ball101 said:Well, I finally figured out who he was and I called him. Im very glad I did. He is very nice, and was very informative as to my cue. He said my cue was made from a Szamboti blank. I was very shocked to here that. But I found out a lot about the cue. I really appreciate the AZB'ers help.
Thanks Guys.
Chris

I've posted it before, but here is my Ingram, which was made from a Joel Hercek blank and was originally owned by David Matlock. Very "old school" design and plays nice. This cue has a brushed lacquer finish!
According to Joel, it is a shorty blank. He and Burton made those and sold them to cue makers in the early 90's, in addition to full-splice blanks they were making for themselves.zeeder said:Is that a shorty blank or did Jim cut off the full splice and add a handle?
