Well guys, this is my first custom made cue. It is a Jim Lee Custom Cue and man is it a great playing cue. When this cue is in hand, not only does it look amazing, it plays like no other I have owned. I have been on AZ for a little while now mostly just reading and looking at all of the beautiful cues that are made by some of the most talented, kind, helpful and sharing individuals. Jim Lee fits all of those characteristics plus some. He makes one heck of a playing cue. Cue came at the weight I anticipated, balance point is perfect. Water Buffalo medium tip, new to me and I like it a lot. Matching ringwork at A-A-D. Great creativity with the ringwork in the segmented handle. The finishing is nice and shiny, very clear with no imperfections. Overall fit and finish is above expectations. Jim was a great guy to deal with and I will have him build me another one as soon as I finish up the plans. Always very easy to get a hold of, answered all my questions ( even the dumb ones ). With this being my first one, I am proud to say I own a Jim Lee Custom Cue. Thank you!
Tony

Ps, beginner at the pics as well..

pretty piece of wood.is it East Indian?

Yeah I am very happy with the way it came out. This is my first custom cue purchased through AZ, and I couldn't be happier with the way everything was handled by Jim Lee. It fits me and my style. Thanks guys

Congrats on a fine cue

I have played with a few of Jim's cues, and they were players. I currently have him making my "gotulane" cue, which should be in my hands sometime in the very near future.

Jim is a great guy to work with, and he builds a fine looking and playing cue.

Congrats on your pick up!!!! Enjoy it!!!!
