Hey guys, I'm cleaning out the closet so to speak. I have a couple cases that have never seen the inside of a poolroom for sale...

The Jim Murnak is in PERFECT condition. Not a scratch on the outside and not a chalk stain on the inside. The case took months for me to receive and cost around 800 bucks. It does have "Pureza" written on the lid but it blends in with the other tooling very well. Also, translated it means "purity" which I know is well-suited for most pool players. (clears throat) Anyway, The price for the Murnak is:

SOLD to Rich. Thanks.

The Zero Halliburton is also in perfect shape, It's a 2x2 but I only removed the spaces for a 1x2... you can make it a 2x2 if you want. The only cue I have ever kept in it was an unchalked Gina so there are no chalk marks on the cushioning. The Price for the Zero Halliburton is:

$250 Shipped Or Best Offer

Pocket configuration

That is an interesting collection of zippers on the pocket in front of the case. Are each of those a separate compartment.

And ... is that a jump handle pocket on the side.

It is a BEAUTIFUL case.

Yep, they are all separate compartments and that is in fact a jump cue handle on the side.

What is the maximum butt length capacity on the Murnak?

Good Question.

I stuck a measuring tape down the tube till it hit the bottom... from the bottom of the case to the top of the case measures 31.75 inches.

The case will probably hold a 61 inch cue.

If you notice I also got the recessed tubes so you can adjust the height of how your cue sits in the tube. This way your thread protectors can sit a little above the tube to make it easy to pull them out... if that's what you prefer.

No, not 61". I think you forgot to consider the joint pin and the bumper. A standard 58" cue has a 29" butt excluding the bumper and joint pin. When you add in a joint pin of maybe 1 1/4" and a bumper of maybe 1/4", you're up to 30 1/2" for the overall butt length. So unless the lid of the case allows for extra length above the edges of the open case, a 29" butt is about the maximum for this case (assuming the pin is in the butt). The shaft, however, could be longer than the standard 29".

Doh! I forgot about that. But that didn't seem right to me so it reminded me that I forgot about something else as well! I put spacers at the bottom of the case when I first got it... I turned the case upside down and they all fell out haha. Below is a picture of them. I remeasured...

The Length from the bottom of the tube to the top of the case is 31.75 inches.

I wonder if Jim Murnak would make a new top .... without the "Pureza" inscription.
