Jigger said:Owned a beautiful 2 X 4 Justis myself. My only disappointment in the design/use was the very narrow slits in the pockets to access stuff. Felt like I needed needle nose pliers to probe around to find anything.

JimBo said:Bruce as in all your posts you really lack any balls to really post an opinion, so my advice would be that you just stick to your middle of the road "nice cue" replies. You were a pain in the ass for the longest time about wanting a Justis, then you got it and in a month sold the thing. maybe on a budget other cases will do, but Joe van said it best. Until i run across someone who owns all the cases on your top 4 list I'll stick with my opinion cause I do own them all, except for the Murnak, I had a chance to own one and decided to buy another Justis and spend the extra money. So IMO when money isn't the object I choose Justis.

Jim Murnak may make a great case but to say that he is superior to Jack Justis is almost blasphemous. Justis cases are in a class all their own and that class is a notch above Jim Murnak. That is not say that Jim makes a bad case. He doesn't. But Jack is the king of the case world in my opinion. And as far as the lining goes, I get a little tired of hearing so many say that they disapprove of the cloth lining over the PVC tubing. Their arguments are that the tubing provides better protection. Well then, I gotta ask... what the hell are you people doing with your case and cues that this would really be an issue?
I use a 2x4 It's George and when I've got both butts and all shafts in there, they don't budge! They don't bang up against one another or smack into the side of the case. They fit perfectly with no wiggle room. Just as good as the PVC tubing.
PoolSleuth said:Well JimBo I have owned a bunch of Cases, and you are correct. I did own a Justis about 6 Weeks, sold it for several reasons.
Don't care, not to mention it's a cue case, it holds cues, what purpose did you need it for? O wait I don't care, nevermind.
It did not SERVE my Purpose, and if I could have another Justis with Deeper Pockets, and that would take a Cue Section of more than 31.25" I would get another Justis.
Jack's pockets aren't great if you are in and out of them often and need to store certain things, as far as the legnth well he will make it xtra long but they hold pretty long cues to start.
The Case I am using now is nothing like a Justis but it serves me well.
Don't care, didn't ask.
As far as Mr. Murnak's Cases, his Cases are not a Clone of anyone else's Cases, and his tool work make his Case very Unique.
Of course nobody said any different, but you feel a need to try and change the topic, I never said his cases were clones or that they weren't good cases, I did say they were heavy.
You got to admit after looking at the above Link Mr. Murnak's Cases are very Unique.
Who said they weren't?
Is there a Perfect Case? I think not like there is not a Perfect Car, Truck, Boat, or anything else in this world.
Maybe that is why some folk just love their Porper, or Instroke Cases.
JimBo said:I never said jack made the perfect case, I have a few problems with his cases, as a matter of fact I've been part of the reason for some of jack's changes.
