As some of you may know, I had cancer last year and it has been an interesting road back to health. I feel fine now and I have been able to work consistently for a while now.

I decided to take orders for cases for only 10 days so I don't get bogged down with work that I can't finish in a reasonable time. My aim is to be able to do these cases in 4-6 months.

You can get an idea of what I was doing before I quit making cases by looking at the website above. I have taken a longer time on some cases but there were a lot of circumstances involved.

I have a Jim Murnak soft leather butterfly case, and the workmanship is top notch. I can place mine next to a couple of Coach bags (old style) and you would think its part of their collection. It would not look out of place.

Jim is also a stand-up guy, and contributed much to the New York City pool scene.

I have a brown leather butterfly and the older it gets the better it looks. Jim really uses high quality materials. I have a black 1x2 "Hustler" case Jim makes that also is the nuts.

Sorry to hear about your cancer, and glad to hear you are doing well!! I get lots of compliments on the extra long "Doc Holliday" case you made me some years back. I will give you a call in the next day or two as I would like you to make a butterfly case in the same vein.

Hope you're playing great as usual. Every time I used to play you, I never took a spot because I always took it to be a lesson. And you always pay for lessons. :) Jim

I want to thank everyone who has ever bought a case from me. There have been a lot of interesting cases and interesting reasons to make them. Everyone of them has had a personal reason from the customers and that made working on them more interesting.
