I found this cue for sale for $300 and was wondering if it was a good deal or not, I don't know a lot about this cue other than what I can find online and there are no prices listed. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say that if it's in good shape, not beat up and still straight it's worth the price. Those old Meucci's were good cues.

I have one of these, and I LOVE it. Great balance. Saw one on a dealer table at the Derby a few years ago...dealer asking $900.

I have the same cue without the boxes in the points...looking for $750, and like Jay said, thats when meucci made good cues

I have been a dealer for Meucci cues for the last 7 years, and recently stopped selling them because the quality has gotten really bad.

The cues model is a Jim Rempe #2, and this cue is different than any I have ever seen, the standard model does not have boxes in the cues points. Now I do not know if this was an early model or a proto-type because Meucci was notorious for doing this throughout thier production.

In my opinion if you are going to buy it as a player the cue is certainly worth the money, this cues was made around 1984 and during that time Meucci was building a very nice cue. Now if the cue is an early model or a proto-type it could be worth much more money, it depends on how many were made and how many are still around.

I think it is a good cue for the price.

Here is a website that may have more information.
