So as most of you know, Jim Baxter and I didn't exactly get off on the right foot. A few years ago, I ordered a set of custom JP's for my Blackcreek and after a bunch of emails we thought we had the design agreed upon. Long story short, I wasn't happy (mostly because I'm anal) and it sparked a long heated argument between Mr. Baxter and I.

Anyway, over the past few months we have put our past differences behind us. It was mostly due to having a mutual friend who assured us that we were both good people and we should consider giving each other the benefit of the doubt.

Last week I received my new PFD and it came with a matching set of JP's with the same fancy ringwork. I also asked Paul make me a few additional sets done in Purpleheart and Tulipwood to match my other PFD cues and a set for my B/J. When my girlfriend Stacie saw them she really liked the fact that they matched the cues and made a comment that she would like to have a set made for her Josie that she bought at the SBE this year. She has been using a set of the inexpensive delrin JP's so I thought I would surprise her with a custom set for her cue. With the past in the past, I decided to order another set of JP's from Jim and Christy. The timing was perfect as Stacie had to travel to Las Vegas for business this past week so I had time to take a few photos of the Josie and take some measurements to send to Jim.

So here is the set Jim/Christy made for Stacie. I'm glad Jim and I have put our past differences aside and were able to work together to get these made. The result looks great and I'm sure Stacie will be very happy once she gets home and sees them.

A big thank you goes out to Jim and Christy for getting them done and shipped out quickly so that they would be ready when Stacie returned home.
