Jimmy Reid's DVDs... Worth it?

ABSOLUTELY. Jimmy has a TON of knowledge and skill. I don't have all 5 but No Time For Negative and his 8 Ball DVD alone are worth the $$.

Even if you don't play 8 ball, his pattern analysis translates well to 9 Ball.

Can't go wrong.

Jim

Got my vote

I think they are real good .He does go a bit fast on the almost
all I know videos

I have yet to check out any of his videos, but he recently moved to my area and when he was feeling better than he is presently he would come into the pool room and give lessons that were amazing and he has an unlimited list of stories. -J

Having just received an email from Jimmy Reid with a special offer on a 5 DVD series for $100, I thought I'd ask if anybody has ordered this set and if you'd recommend it, or at least review it. Here's a link to the page on his site where the offer is made:

I haven't seen those dvd, but I have watched his older 3 tape set and found it quite helpful at the time. I think it may depend upon where your game is, it is pretty basic stuff on the 3 tapes I saw. It is well presented, whether it is appropriate for you or not, I can't determine.

I have part 1 and 2 of Almost All I Know. Some of it gets kind of confusing, but his 8 ball strategy is awesome.
